The camp policy to manage cabin sales is designed to ensure that the camp continues to be a place for Christian community, spiritual renewal and serves its core constituency, the partner churches. It is designed to enable all interested and eligible members of partner churches equal access to available cabins on the camp property, and to facilitate the sale of cabins so that owners receive fair market value.
All cabins offered for sale are listed publicly and sent out via the email list. There is a minimum two week waiting period during which any eligible buyer from a partner church may submit a bid equal to or greater than the minimum price. In the event that there are multiple bidders, the highest bidder will have purchased the cabin. If no bids are received the seller may elect to continue listing the cabin for sale until an offer is received. If the seller elects to reduce the price, the cabin will be re-offered for sale by bid at the reduced price.
